We Believe – in a theology of mission, as expressed in the Westminster Confession of Faith: “…Christ hath commissioned his Church to go into all the world and to make disciples of all nations. All believers are therefore under obligation…to contribute by their prayers, gifts, and personal efforts to the extension of the Kingdom of Christ throughout the whole earth.”
About St Andrew
Why Choose Our Church
Worship With Us
We’re St. Andrew Presbyterian, But you can call us ‘Andy’ if you like.”
We’re a friendly bunch. Our pastor is officially Reverend Doctor Salmon, but he goes by just — “Mark.” We take God more seriously than we take ourselves. We’d love to get to know you better.
Are you a senior-age person? A Baby Boomer? Maybe a millennial? Doesn’t matter — the door’s open. Our congregation includes married couples, singles, widows and widowers, and divorced folks. Everyone is welcome, but nobody is judged — we leave God in charge of that department.
Do you see God as a male person? A female person? A gender-neutral spirit? Aren’t sure? Doesn’t matter — God loves you regardless, and at St. Andrew, God’s love is what it’s all about.
We have traditional services with songs from a hymnal, non-traditional services with a contemporary feel, volunteer opportunities galore, men’s breakfasts and women’s prayer circles, a caring Stephen Ministry, fellowship dinners most of the year, and a “lunch bunch.” We’ll bless your pets and pray for you when things don’t go well. And we’re good listeners, so let us know what you like and what you don’t.
It’s like a smorgasbord at St. Andrew…try whatever appeals to you, and please take seconds. It’s a spiritual place and at once casual, a cordial place that respects your privacy. Come join us, and please introduce yourself to the next person in the pew.
